Macy's stores in WA, OR, ID, UT, MT and WY are holding their Shop For A Cause Event on Saturday, March 17th. Several non-profits, including RVP, will be holding court in the downtown Seattle Macy's. The point of the event is for each organization to sell as many savings passes as possible to individuals for $5. In return, each customer holding one of these passes will receive 20% off items, including items on sale, purchased in the store. RVP and other participating charities will get 100% of the proceeds for the passes they sell. The organization that has the most attendees on the 17th will receive the proceeds from all passes sold at the Macy's registers.
If you live in any of the above states and would like to sell passes to your friends and family, please contact RVP Volunteer, Dayna Nordine, at daynanordine@yahoo.com, who will mail the passes to you.
RVP will have a manned table on the day of the event between 1 and 3 PM at the 3rd and Pine entrance in Seattle's downtown Macy's. Passes will also be available for sale at the RVP table.
